Rooms are available from 1.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. We request that guests vacate the bedroom by 11.00 a.m. on departure day.
We advise you to take out insurance against cancellation, as in the event, we have the right to claim any subsequent loss. With our confirmation we enclose details of a recommended scheme. The hotel reserves the right to cancel a booking without liability on its part, in any event beyond our control. In such an event we shall refund the deposit paid but will have no further liability
Complimentary season tickets are available, entitling guests to deck-chair use and entry to the picturesque thatched clubhouse.
We regret that no reduction is made for meals not taken.

Entertainment is offered in the Faulkner Lounge Bar on several evenings each week. This includes music for dancing, an old-time musical hall performer and a weekly quiz. Guests preferring a quiet drink may make use of the service bar situated behind reception, and relax in any of the hotel’s three superbly furnished lounges.
Gratuities are left entirely to the discretion of guests.
From time to time special offers are introduced and advertised in the National Press or via direct mail. The terms quoted apply strictly to the time of booking.
Each year during early August, the town hosts a Folklore Festival. The town welcomes Dance Teams, Folk Artists, Theatre & Crafts. Please note that entertainment offered in the hotel differs during this week.
Private guests of the hotel may swim free of charge at Sidmouth’s public Indoor heated pool, just 200 yards from the hotel.

There is a ramp at one of the hotel’s entrances and whilst the hotel welcomes many guests with fairly limited mobility, we regret that none of the bathrooms are suitable for wheelchair access.
